For the past couple of years we
have taken Ella the cow over to the
Mid
Michigan Old Gas Tractor Association show grounds to teach
elementary kids from the area about dairy farms and cows. The kids
get to listen to Ella's heart beat. The kids were
very interested to learn about Ella. One of the most frequently
asked questions was "Are all cows this big?" The answer was
always, "Yes, she is average sized." We also got "Where does
the milk come from?" So we explained that too!" |
